​Fred and Mary Roby Scholarship

Challenge Scholarship

Award given by the Maryland Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance.  This prestigious award was given to honor excellence in the field of Health and Physical Education in the state of Maryland.

This scholarship was given to only one student in the exercise science program that demonstrated excellence in the field. This scholarship was given by the Exercise Science Faculty at Slippery Rock University.   I received this honor for two consecutive years.

The Challenge Scholarship was given to only 12 individuals in the country contributing to the Strength and Conditioning field.  This award was given by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. 

Rising Star Award 

This award was given for excellence in the completion of various leadership roles taken on at  Slippery Rock University.
